If your passenger is under 16 and not wearing a seat belt:
- Nobody is fined if the passenger is over 12
- You can get a ticket — correct answer
- Only the passenger is fined
Why
You and your passengers must wear seat belts, and if a passenger is under 16 the ticket can come to you. (Section 8, Seat Belts.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
