Before proceeding through an intersection, even with a green light, you should:
- Ignore what’s happening around you
- Accelerate quickly to clear the intersection
- Scan left-center-right for hazards such as red-light runners or pedestrians — correct answer
Why
A green light gives you the right of way, not a clear road. Scan left, center and right for red-light runners and pedestrians before you move.
Practise this in the real format
