At night, you should adjust your speed so that:
- You can stop within the distance illuminated by your headlights — correct answer
- You keep pace with the fastest traffic
- You always drive at the speed limit
Why
Overdriving your headlights means you cannot stop within the distance you can see. Slow down until your stopping distance fits inside the lit area.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
