In a heavy rainstorm you cannot see more than 100 feet ahead. Your speed should not exceed:
- 55 mph
- 30 mph — correct answer
- 45 mph
Why
Below 100 feet of visibility it is not safe to drive faster than 30 mph, and you may have to stop from time to time. (Section 8, Slippery Roads.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
