When driving near large trucks, you should:
- Stay in their blind spots as long as possible
- Pass quickly and merge closely in front
- Avoid cutting them off and wait until you see the entire front of the truck in your mirror before merging ahead — correct answer
Why
Never cut in front of a truck. Wait until you can see the whole front of it in your rear-view mirror before moving over, so you are not inside its stopping distance.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
