Is a permit valid if you haven’t started behind-the-wheel training with a professional instructor (under 18)?
- Yes, you can practice immediately
- No, it is not valid until your first lesson with an instructor — correct answer
- Yes, if your parent signs it
Why
Under 18 the permit is not valid to drive until an instructor validates it at your first behind-the-wheel lesson. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
