To apply for a REAL ID driver’s license, you must provide:
- Proof of vehicle insurance only
- A school transcript
- Additional proof of identity and two proofs of residency — correct answer
Why
A REAL ID needs an identity document plus two proofs of California residency, beyond what a standard license requires. (Handbook, Section 1.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
