Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
To get a full Class C license in California if you are under 18, you must:
- Be at least 17 and skip the driving test
- Be at least 15½ and have a parent’s permission
- Be at least 16 and have held a permit for 6 months — correct answer
Why
You must be at least 16, and have held an instruction permit for at least six months. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
