Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
To be valid for practice, your permit must be signed by:
- A parent, at any time
- A driving instructor after your first lesson (if under 18) — correct answer
- A friend who is a driver
Why
Under 18, the permit only becomes valid once a driving instructor validates it at the first behind-the-wheel lesson. (Handbook, Section 2.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
