What is the maximum speed of a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) or Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV)?
- 25 mph, and they are banned from roads posted above 35 mph — correct answer
- 35 mph, and they may use any road
- 45 mph, but only in residential areas
Why
NEVs and LSVs reach a maximum speed of 25 mph and are prohibited from roads where the speed limit is greater than 35 mph. (Handbook, Section 7.)
