Turning off the radio during a traffic stop is:
- Optional and irrelevant to the officer
- Something the handbook asks you to do — correct answer
- Only necessary at night
Why
It is on the list of things to do during a stop, along with rolling down the window and keeping hands in view. (Section 6, During a Law Enforcement Stop.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
