What is the penalty for an under-21 driver with a BAC of 0.01% or higher?
- One year license suspension — correct answer
- No penalty
- A small fine only
Why
A DUI conviction at 0.01% or higher under 21 means DMV may revoke your driving privilege for one year, plus a licensed DUI program. (Handbook, Section 9.)
