Topic 6 · Alcohol, Drugs, and Driving (DUI Laws)
You are carrying an unopened bottle of wine in your car. It is legal as long as:
- There are no passengers under 21 in the vehicle
- It is inside the glove box
- The container stays sealed and unopened — correct answer
Why
Alcohol or cannabis in the vehicle must travel sealed. Once open it goes in the trunk or somewhere passengers do not sit, and never in the glove box. (Section 9, Use or Possession of Alcohol or Cannabis Products in a Vehicle.)
