What can happen if you are convicted of four DUIs in California?
- No additional penalties
- You lose your license for a week
- You may be charged with a felony — correct answer
Why
Repeat DUIs escalate. The handbook says every DUI stays on your record for 10 years and that further DUIs in that window bring additional penalties (Section 9). Under the Vehicle Code, a fourth offense in that window can be charged as a felony.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
