Topic 4 · Defensive Driving and Safe Driving Practices
When is it necessary to check your blind spots?
- Whenever you plan to move laterally, like changing lanes or merging — correct answer
- If you are driving below the speed limit
- Only when you hear a horn
Why
Any time you move sideways — lane change, merge, pulling out — check the blind spot by looking, because mirrors do not cover it.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
