Topic 3 · Rules of the Road: Traffic Laws in California
You are stopped at a red arrow and want to turn right. You may:
- Not turn: you must wait for the light to change — correct answer
- Turn if no pedestrians are present
- Turn after a complete stop, as with a solid red light
Why
The right turn on red applies to a solid red light, not to a red arrow. (Section 6, Right Turn Against a Red Arrow.)
Practise this in the real format
