You should not begin a pass unless:
- You can complete it within 30 seconds
- The vehicle ahead signals you through
- You have enough space to return to your lane — correct answer
Why
Having room to get back in is the condition the handbook states. (Section 6, Passing.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
