Your signal lights have failed. How do you signal a right turn with your arm?
- Arm extended straight out horizontally
- Arm extended upward, bent at the elbow — correct answer
- Arm extended downward, pointing at the road
Why
A right turn is signalled with the hand and arm extended upward. Horizontal means a left turn and downward means stopping or slowing. (CVC 22111; Handbook, Section 5.)
Practise this in the real format
