Another vehicle's headlights are dazzling you. You should:
- Look straight at the lights to judge the distance
- Turn on your own high beams so you can see
- Look toward the right edge of your lane and watch the vehicle out of the corner of your eye — correct answer
Why
Never look into the oncoming lights, and never answer with your own high beams: it only makes it harder for both drivers. (Section 8, Darkness.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
