Bridges and overpasses are more dangerous in cold weather because:
- They are usually narrower than the road
- Their surface is always smoother
- They tend to freeze before the rest of the road — correct answer
Why
Air circulates underneath them, so they ice over first. (Section 8, Slippery Roads.)
