Why should you not turn the steering wheel with force when your wheels have dropped off the pavement?
- It can send you into oncoming traffic — correct answer
- It makes the tires lose air
- It can damage the power steering
Why
That is the reason the handbook gives: too much force on the wheel may take you across into oncoming traffic. (Section 8, Driving Off the Pavement.)
