California’s minimum liability limits as of January 1, 2025, are:
- $15,000/$30,000/$5,000
- $30,000/$60,000/$15,000 (bodily injury per person/total per accident/property damage) — correct answer
- $50,000/$100,000/$50,000
Why
The minimums are $30,000 for injury or death to one person, $60,000 for more than one person, and $15,000 for property damage. (Handbook, Section 10 — Insurance Requirements.)
