Topic 3 · Rules of the Road: Traffic Laws in California
During a law enforcement stop, you should:
- Open the door and remain seated
- Step out to speak with the officer
- Stay inside the vehicle unless the officer directs you to get out — correct answer
Why
Stay in, turn the radio off, roll the window down before the officer reaches you, and everyone puts their hands in clear view. (Section 6, During a Law Enforcement Stop.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
