In a Safety Enhanced-Double Fine Zone:
- The speed limit is automatically reduced by 10 mph
- Fines are doubled — correct answer
- Points on your record are doubled
Why
Certain roads are designated Safety Enhanced-Double Fine Zones because of a high rate of injury and fatal collisions, and fines there are doubled. Fines are also doubled in construction or maintenance zones when workers are present. (Section 7, Fines and Double Fine Zones.)
Practise this in the real format
