Failing to exchange information after a minor accident, even if damage is under $1,000, is:
- Allowed only for parked cars
- Okay if both drivers agree
- Not allowed; you must always exchange info — correct answer
Why
You must always exchange information, whatever the damage. The $1,000 threshold governs DMV reporting, not your duty at the scene. (Handbook, Section 10.)
Practise this in the real format
