How long is a typical California instruction permit valid?
- 24 months
- 6 months
- 12 months — correct answer
Why
An instruction permit runs about 12 months. If it expires before you pass the drive test you have to start the application again.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
