If someone waves you ahead at a stop sign but you are unsure, you should:
- Proceed only if it is safe to do so — correct answer
- Ignore their wave and honk
- Always accept their wave and go immediately
Why
A wave is not a guarantee. The person waving cannot see everything you can, so only move when you have checked it is safe yourself.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
