Open containers of alcohol or cannabis in the passenger area:
- Are allowed for passengers only
- Must be stored in the trunk or a locked area — correct answer
- Are allowed if the driver is not drinking
Why
An open container must go in the trunk or somewhere passengers do not sit — the glove box does not count. Sealed, unopened containers may ride with you. (Handbook, Section 9.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
