Is it legal to drive after using marijuana in California?
- No, if it impairs your ability to drive — correct answer
- Yes, if you are over 21
- Yes, if it is medical marijuana
Why
Cannabis being legal to buy does not make it legal to drive on. If it impairs you, it is a DUI — medical authorization included. (Handbook, Section 9.)
