The pre-drive check requires your horn to be audible from at least:
- 100 feet
- 200 feet — correct answer
- 50 feet
Why
It must be the horn designed for the vehicle, in working order and audible from at least 200 feet. An aftermarket novelty horn does not qualify. (Section 3.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
