What should you do if your accelerator sticks?
- Pump the accelerator repeatedly
- Turn off the engine immediately
- Shift to neutral, brake, and steer to a safe place — correct answer
Why
Shift to neutral first: that disconnects the engine from the wheels immediately. Then brake and steer to a safe place. Turning off the engine while moving can lock the steering.
Practise this in the real format
