When may you make a U-turn on a divided highway?
- Anywhere, as long as you can see 200 feet in each direction
- Never, under any circumstances
- Only where a center divider opening is provided — correct answer
Why
You may make a U-turn on a divided highway if a center divider opening is provided. What you must never do is cross the dividing section itself — a curb, a strip of land, or two sets of double yellow lines. (Handbook, Section 6.)
