Topic 3 · Rules of the Road: Traffic Laws in California
When sharing the road with a truck, remember:
- Trucks can stop as quickly as cars
- If you can't see the truck's mirrors, the driver can't see you — correct answer
- You can safely stay in their blind spot
Why
Large trucks have deep blind spots along both sides and directly behind. If you cannot see the driver's mirrors, they cannot see you — drop back or move past.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
