When stopped behind another vehicle, you should:
- Rest your front bumper against their car
- Stop as close as possible to save space
- Leave enough space so you can see their rear tires touch the pavement — correct answer
Why
Leave enough gap to see the other vehicle's rear tires touching the road. That is roughly a car length — room to pull around if it stalls.
