'Yield' means:
- Sound your horn before entering
- Stop completely every time, then continue
- Wait for, slow down and be ready to stop so those with the right-of-way can proceed — correct answer
Why
The glossary defines yielding as waiting for, slowing down and being ready to stop if necessary to let vehicles or pedestrians with the right-of-way go first. (Section 14, Glossary.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
