You have had to drive through water on a flooded road. Afterwards you should:
- Stop immediately and let the vehicle cool
- Test your brakes to make sure they still work correctly — correct answer
- Accelerate hard to dry the engine
Why
Crossing is a last resort — it is better to find another route — and once through you drive slowly and test the brakes. (Section 8, Flooded Roads.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
