Your vehicle is stuck in snow or mud. You should:
- Spin the wheels fast to dig through
- Rock it free with slow forward and backward movements in low gear — correct answer
- Turn the front wheels sharply and accelerate
Why
The method is to shift into low gear with the front wheels straight, ease forward as far as possible, reverse as far as possible, and repeat until the vehicle rolls free. (Section 8, Stuck in Snow or Mud.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
