What does proper 'scanning' of the road involve?
- Keeping your eyes moving and observing all around your vehicle — correct answer
- Focusing only on the car directly in front of you
- Looking at your phone while driving slowly
Why
Scanning is continuous: eyes moving between the road far ahead, the sides, and the mirrors, rather than fixed on the car in front.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
