Topic 7 · Insurance and Financial Responsibility
You must be able to show proof of insurance:
- When you drive, at the drive test, and to the other drivers after a collision — correct answer
- Only when you renew your registration
- Only when a law enforcement officer asks for it
Why
Proof of financial responsibility travels with you: while driving, for the drive test, and to show the other drivers involved in a collision. (Section 10.)

Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
