Topic 2 · Requirements and Process
Your test vehicle for the DMV drive test must:
- Have tinted windows
- Be new and under warranty
- Be in good working order with working lights, horn, and brakes — correct answer
Why
The vehicle must be roadworthy: working lights, horn, brakes, mirrors, wipers, seat belts and an opening driver window. (Handbook, Section 3.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
