A sign that is a red circle with a red line through it means:
- The action shown inside the circle is prohibited — correct answer
- A warning of a hazard ahead
- The action shown is recommended
Why
The red circle and slash is the universal prohibition symbol on regulatory signs. (Section 7, Red Circle with a Red Line Through It.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
