At a red light, turning right is allowed when:
- There is no NO TURN ON RED sign and you stop, yield to pedestrians, and turn when safe — correct answer
- You slow down enough to see that no one is coming
- The intersection has a green arrow for the through lanes
Why
A right turn on red is permitted only after a full stop at the stop or limit line, yielding to pedestrians, and only where no NO TURN ON RED sign is posted. (Section 7, Traffic Signals.)
