Before making a right turn, you may drive in a bike lane:
- Never: the bike lane is off limits to cars
- Within 200 feet of the turn, after checking for bicyclists in your blind spots — correct answer
- At any distance, as long as you signal
Why
You may enter the bike lane within 200 feet of the turn, and the handbook insists on checking the blind spots for bicyclists first. (Section 6, Right Turns.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
