Pedestrians have the right-of-way:
- In crosswalks, whether they are marked or unmarked — correct answer
- Only where a pedestrian signal is installed
- Only in crosswalks marked with white lines
Why
Not every crosswalk is painted. Pedestrians have the right-of-way in marked and unmarked crosswalks alike. (Section 7, Crosswalks.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
