Before turning right you should look:
- Only at the traffic light
- Both ways — left, right, left — and over your right shoulder — correct answer
- Only left, since traffic comes from there
Why
Look over your right shoulder for pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists between your vehicle and the curb, then left-right-left before turning. (Section 6, Right Turns.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
