If you cause an accident with no insurance, to reinstate your license after 1 year you must:
- Take a written test only
- Pay off your car loan
- File an SR-22 and maintain insurance — correct answer
Why
After the first year you can get the license back by filing an SR 22 and keeping it in force for the rest of the suspension. (Handbook, Section 10.)
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
