Topic 7 · Insurance and Financial Responsibility
You roll into a parked car and cannot find the owner. You must:
- Wait 30 minutes and then leave
- Leave a note with your name, phone number and address, and report it to law enforcement — correct answer
- Leave the scene, since the damage is not yours to assess
Why
Try to find the owner; if you cannot, attach a note securely with your name, phone and address, and report the collision to law enforcement. (Section 10, What to Do if You Are in a Collision.)
