If you encounter a flooded road, you should:
- Drive through quickly
- Drive slowly to test the depth
- Turn around and do not drive through the water — correct answer
Why
Turn around. You cannot judge the depth or whether the roadbed underneath is still there, and moving water needs surprisingly little depth to carry a car away.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
