Topic 3 · Rules of the Road: Traffic Laws in California
You park on a hill where there is no curb. Your wheels should point:
- To the right, so the vehicle would roll away from the center of the road — correct answer
- Straight ahead in either direction
- To the left, toward the center of the road
Why
With no curb, uphill or downhill, the wheels go to the right so a runaway vehicle leaves the roadway instead of crossing it. (Section 6, Parking on a Hill.)
Practise this in the real format
