If your car breaks down in bad weather or poor visibility, you should:
- Leave your car in the lane and wait inside
- Use hazard lights and move as far off the road as safely possible — correct answer
- Turn off all lights and sit in the driver’s seat
Why
Get as far off the road as you safely can and put the hazards on. In poor visibility, being seen early is what keeps you from being hit.
Practise this in the real format
Reading one answer is not the same as sitting the test. The simulator runs the first-time adult form: 36 questions, 6 mistakes allowed, 83% to pass.
